Leica Microsystems in Milan area is seeking an Advanced Workflow Specialist – Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation to provide expert application knowledge, demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization for EM workflows.

You will collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and R&D across the EMEA region, with 40-50% travel. A MSc/PhD in Life Sciences or related field and hands-on EM experience are required.

Competenze

Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
Hands-on EM sample preparation experience (cryo-EM, CLEM, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture).
Willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region.
Proficiency in English; German is an advantage.

Mansioni

Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support with on-site or virtual demonstrations.
Plan, execute, and support customer workshops and advanced application sessions for EM workflows.
Support marketing through scientific content for webinars, conferences, and promotional materials.
Develop application data, success stories, and reference workflows for the commercial team.
Document customer activities, demos, and trainings in CRM systems, e.g., SFDC.
