Leica Microsystems, a Danaher company, seeks an Advanced Workflow Specialist for Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation. You will act as a technical and scientific bridge between customers, Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and R&D to drive adoption of advanced workflows.

The role is remote with 40–50% travel across the EMEA region; based in the Milan area to support a dense customer base and leverage international connections.

Competenze

• MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience with electron microscopy (EM) sample preparation techniques (e.g., cryo-EM workflows, CLEM workflows, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture).
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region.
• Proficiency in English (technical and conversational); additional European languages, particularly German, are an advantage.

Mansioni

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support, including on-site and virtual demonstrations, customer trainings, and workflow optimization.
• Plan, execute, and support customer workshops, seminars, and advanced application sessions focused on electron microscopy sample preparation workflows.
• Support marketing initiatives through scientific content contributions for webinars, conferences, workshops, and promotional materials.
• Develop and contribute to application data, success stories, and reference workflows that support the commercial organization.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer activities, demos, and trainings in CRM systems (e.g., SFDC).
