Fortinet, Inc. in Italy seeks a Regional Account Manager for the Public Sector to drive cybersecurity transformations in Emilia-Romagna and North-East Italy.

You will manage public sector accounts, promoting Fortinet’s security-first solutions and guiding customers through complex procurement cycles. Based in Bologna, you will build executive relationships, deliver tailored proposals, and coordinate cross-functional teams to win new opportunities while ensuring customer success and regulatory

Competenze

• Experience in technology sales, ideally cybersecurity or networking.
• Sales to public administration, including education/healthcare/local government.
• Strong knowledge of IT security technologies like firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS.
• Proven track record of meeting/quota targets.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
• Goal‑oriented with strong business acumen and leadership.

Mansioni

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to exceed sales targets.
• Drive adoption of Fortinet products and services in public sector accounts.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with decision-makers.
• Coordinate internal teams to deliver proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and SOWs.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness in line with regulations.
• Lead flow of information to and from executive management.
• Maximize Fortinet opportunities with value-added solutions.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and sales forecast.
• Collaborate with partner channel managers and technical staff.
• Travel within the assigned territory as required.
