Overview

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) for the ITA SOUTH region. You will engage new and existing customers in programs involving GenAI/Agentic AI, IT strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations. You will work closely with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth. As ProServe’s customer-facing relationship owner, you’ll define business outcomes, build trust, identify AWS Professional Services offerings, and create proposals and secure customer sign-off of SOWs. Following project launch, you will stay connected with the customer to ensure delivery of the agreed customer business outcomes (CBO) as outlined in the SOW.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development by engaging customers and driving high-value engagements for large programs or projects.
  • Collaborate with Amazon Global Sales (AGS) representatives to coordinate a coordinated approach for key accounts.
  • Create services proposals, secure customer sign-off on Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure delivery of agreed CBOs and maximize revenue potential.
  • Advocate for customers while balancing AWS business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Experience in technology sales or account management, preferably in cloud services; experience meeting monthly/quarterly targets and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and IT strategies; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Masters/MBA preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to build and maintain C-level relationships in IT or business units.
  • Ability to build multi-year services strategy for existing target accounts or new customers; financial acumen to analyze KPIs; technical proficiency to understand AWS services.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, storytelling and active listening; established network of senior leadership in Italy Enterprise Account (FTSE) is a plus.
