A leading engineering firm is seeking a Planner Engineer to develop and monitor project schedules in the Oil & Gas sector. The role requires 7–10 years of experience and strong knowledge of project planning methodologies. Responsibilities include preparing baseline schedules and coordinating with engineering teams to ensure project milestones are met. Full-time position based in Milan, with some travel required. Location: Milan (with project missions).

Start Date: January 2026.

Contract Duration: 6 months, renewable up to September 2027.

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (8x5).

Rotation: Not applicable.

Travel Requirement: Availability to travel approximately 20% of the time to project locations.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and monitor project schedules for Oil & Gas projects.
• Prepare baseline schedules, progress curves, and periodic planning reports.
• Coordinate planning activities with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Analyze schedule deviations and support recovery plans.
• Support site activities during project missions, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
• Interface with project management to ensure accurate progress tracking and forecasting.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience as Planner Engineer in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling methodologies.
• Experience in EPC/EPCI project environments.
• Availability to travel to project sites as required.
