Alpitronic Americas LLC is seeking a senior role focused on market evolution for cashless payment solutions and partnerships within the E-mobility sector. You will collaborate with Product Management, Service, Legal, and Procurement to define supplier relationships and manage lifecycle support from launch through end-of-life.

The role requires a Master’s in related engineering, several years in payment terminals, and knowledge of EV charging standards.

Competenze

• Master's degree in electronics/automation/electrical engineering or management engineering.
• Several years of experience in payment terminals or payment acceptance, including unattended payments.
• Knowledge of EV charging and AFIR requirements.
• Strong understanding of acquirer/PSP business models; familiarity with international payment standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with OCPP and charger integration.
• Fundamentals of Product Management and Project Management; experience in partnerships and supplier management.
• Excellent knowledge of English, German and/or Italian is a plus.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and understand market evolution and customer needs related to credit card terminals and payment solutions, in collaboration with Product Management
• Steer the definition of partnerships with key suppliers, aiming at ensuring a lifecycle partner support, from new product introduction, procurement, service, SW updates and end-of-life, together with key teams (Product Management, Service, Legal, Procurement, Quality)
• Scout emerging technologies and innovation regarding cashless solutions, from, assessing opportunities or anticipating threats related to technology revolution, in collaboration with Product Management and R&D
• Actively monitor key Payment Terminal industry regulation, joining technical committees when needed and ensuring a proper cascading to Product Management and dissemination in the company
• Support Product Management in training of sales forces and related teams on Cashless topics to ensure a proper dissemination and shared understanding of key elements
• Upon need, support Product Management key operations over the product lifecycle evolution (from requirements definition to product release and on-field deployment)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Master's degree in electronics/automation/electrical engineering disciplines or management engineering
• Several years of experience in payment terminals or payment acceptance with experience with unattended payments
• Knowledge of EV charging and AFIR requirements
• Strong understanding of acquirer/PSP business models; familiarity with international payment standards and regulations
• Familiarity with OCPP and charger integration
• Fundamentals of Product Management and Project Management, with experience in partnership and suppliers management
• Excellent knowledge of English, German and/or Italian are a plus

• Total compensation: € 64.000 - € 96.000, including 30% of variable bonus based on goal achievement

The compensation range provided is based on the current scope and location of the role.
