WLG in Sicily seeks an on-site communications specialist to manage audio and video services end to end. You will deploy, configure, test, and recover equipment for exercises, coordinating with command-level sessions and routine endpoint updates.

The role requires hands-on video teleconferencing experience, VoIP knowledge, and strong record-keeping. A structured, process-driven mindset and fluent English are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum two years designing, implementing and maintaining core network architecture.
• Practical experience with video teleconferencing technologies.
• Solid understanding of VoIP and IP addressing.
• Experience logging and tracking work in a service-desk tool.
• Structured environment: procedures, checklists and instructions.
• Basic IT security practices: passwords, access control, device protection.
• Ability to follow and improve documented procedures and prioritise issues.
• Strong communication with users and colleagues; accurate records.
• Willingness to work on site and, when needed, extended hours.
• Fluent English, CEFR B2 to C1.

Mansioni

• Prepare, configure and deploy audio and video equipment per baseline configurations.
• Set up and manage video teleconferencing, including senior/command sessions.
• Install and configure voice equipment over both ordinary and secure networks.
• Set up and tear down projectors and sound equipment.
• Carry out approved endpoint updates and routine line patching.
• Handle incidents and service requests promptly and accurately.
• Prepare, deploy and recover equipment for exercises and operations.
• Maintain complete, auditable records of all actions performed.
• Support other communications service areas where endpoint work intersects.
