Wlgroup in Sicily seeks an experienced operations support technician to manage end-to-end audio and video services for exercises and operations. You will configure, deploy and maintain equipment, ensure readiness for senior sessions and manage voice and projector setups.

The role requires practical video conferencing experience, VOIP knowledge, and strong record-keeping in a structured environment. On-site work and occasional extended hours are expected.

Competenze

• Two years hands-on experience in designing, implementing and maintaining core network architecture.
• Practical experience with video teleconferencing technologies.
• Understanding of voice over IP and IP addressing.
• Ability to log and track work in a service-desk tool.
• Comfort with procedures, processes, checklists and instructions.
• Basic IT security practices: password handling and access control.
• Ability to follow and improve documented procedures and prioritise when multiple issues occur.
• Good communication with users and colleagues and accurate record-keeping.

Mansioni

• Prepare, configure and deploy audio and video equipment and keep it aligned with baseline configurations.
• Set up and manage video teleconferencing, including senior and command-level sessions.
• Install and configure voice equipment over ordinary and secure networks.
• Set up and tear down projectors and sound equipment.
• Carry out approved endpoint updates and physical line patching to procedures.
• Handle incidents and service requests promptly and accurately.
• Prepare, deploy and recover equipment in exercises and operations.
• Maintain complete, auditable records of all activities.
