WLG in Sicily seeks an experienced operational support specialist to manage end-to-end audio and video services for exercises and operations. You will configure, deploy and recover equipment, ensure baselines are followed, and support cross-unit communications with strong documentation and process discipline.

The role requires hands-on networking experience, proficiency in video conferencing, VOIP, and Windows environments, plus the ability to work on-site and extend hours when needed.

Competenze

• Two years hands-on experience designing, implementing and maintaining core network architecture for large organisations.
• Practical experience with video teleconferencing technologies.
• Solid understanding of VOIP and IP addressing.
• Ability to log and track work in a service-desk tool.
• Comfort with structured procedures, checklists and instructions.

Mansioni

• Prepare, configure and deploy audio and video equipment, aligned with baseline configurations.
• Set up and manage video teleconferencing for senior and command-level sessions.
• Install and configure voice equipment over both ordinary and secure networks.
• Set up and tear down projectors and sound equipment.
• Carry out endpoint updates and physical line patching per procedures.
• Handle incidents and service requests promptly and accurately.
• Prepare, deploy and recover equipment for exercises and operational activity.
• Maintain complete, auditable records of all work performed.
• Support other communications service areas where endpoints are involved.
