RINA is currently recruiting for a Mediterranean & Africa Finance Manager to join its office in Genoa or Milan (Italy) within the Mediterranean and Africa Finance Division.

Mission

You will lead the overall financial management and operational effectiveness of the Region, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and Group policies across all legal entities. You will provide strategic financial leadership, support performance management, and strengthen governance through accurate reporting, treasury oversight, and risk control.

Key Accountabilities
Financial Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and reporting requirements across all regional legal entities, in alignment with local regulations and Group policies.
  • Act as primary interface with external auditors and local consultants, ensuring robust governance and high-quality financial controls.
  • Oversee the maintenance of statutory documentation and corporate records for all entities.
Financial Operations Management
  • Lead end‑to‑end finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, treasury activities and tax processes.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency of financial data, driving adoption of best‑practice processes across the Region.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy and control.
Reporting, Budgeting & Performance Management
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group and statutory requirements.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting in partnership with Global Finance and local business teams.
  • Provide financial insights, analysis of results and variance explanations to support senior leadership decision‑making.
Treasury, Cash & Risk Management
  • Oversee liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization in collaboration with Group Treasury.
  • Support financing strategies and capital allocation decisions.
Tax Management
  • Ensure tax compliance in accordance with local legislations.
  • Promote tax efficiencies actions in line with the Group tax framework.
Education
  • Master’s Degree in Economics or Business Administration Finance Management
  • MBA / Post Graduate Degree
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of successfully leading finance teams and managing a Finance department.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large teams (10+ people).
  • Willingness to travel and relocate as necessary.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as PowerBI, Excel, and Tableau.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to thrive in dynamic and challenging environments.
  • Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Previous experience in a Big4 firm is considered a plus.
