Descrizione del lavoro

At AlixPartners we solve the most complex and critical challenges by moving quickly from analysis to action when it really matters; creating value that has a lasting impact on companies, their people, and the communities they serve. We prize diversity and inclusion, the intellectually curious, the inventive, and the forward‑thinking.

What sets us apart is a culture that enables each professional to shape their own development path: career progression is not governed by rigid cycles, but by individual growth, readiness, and ambition. You will find a collaborative environment where long‑term development, mentorship, and flexibility are integral to how we work. We invite you to influence the way we operate and contribute to the way we embrace tomorrow.

The Manufacturing & Operations practice is growing rapidly, offering you the opportunity to make a tangible impact on clients’ performance. Our work goes beyond slide decks: we partner directly with leadership and frontline teams to design and implement solutions that deliver measurable results. From optimizing production footprints to improving supply chain resilience and driving procurement savings, we focus on execution as much as strategy. You will experience the intensity of real change programs—where decisions are made quickly, and outcomes are visible in operational KPIs and financial performance.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct operational diagnoses from site visits and data-analysis

  • Define actionable improvement plans working side‑by‑side with client teams on the shop floor and in the boardroom

  • Build models to quantify benefits and track value realization

  • Support implementation and set governance structures that ensure rapid decision‑making and accountability

  • Prepare executive‑level communications that turn complex analysis into clear, pragmatic recommendations

What you’ll need

  • Four to eight years of experience, ideally a mix of consulting and industry within manufacturing/operations.

  • Proven exposure to one or more of: manufacturing performance improvement (OEE, yield, throughput), footprint optimization (MFO/DFO), supply chain & logistics, sourcing & procurement, working‑capital, and digital operations/analytics.

  • MBA or Master’s degree with a strong academic track record. Degrees in Engineering, Business, Operations, or Finance are preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and modelling skills (operations and 3‑statement/CF as needed) and a track record of delivering high‑value client work.

  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to define roles, manage expectations, and execute within cross‑functional teams at plant and corporate levels.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint fluency.

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently; flexible, adaptable, and energized by fast‑moving environments—often on‑site at plants.

  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel and to work outside standard business hours when projects demand.

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model (office + remote).

  • Alignment with our Core Values as in the AlixPartners Code of Conduct, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

In addition to a positive workplace, the firm offers a comprehensive compensation package including an excellent benefit program.
