Job summary

Belmond’s Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, Portofino, seeks a Guest Service Agent for the 2027 season. The role reports to the Front Office Manager and requires delivering authentic luxury experiences with care, confidence and curiosity in one of the world’s most renowned destinations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of front desk experience in luxury hotels, fluent Italian and English, and a third language; MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience at a front desk in luxury hotels.
• Fluent/proficient in Italian and English; a third language is required.
• Able to work collaboratively within a team and share information and skills.
• Accurate, precise, with a sense of urgency and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Review reservations to ensure correct PMS entries.
• Support Front Desk in daily operations maintaining high standards.
• Coordinate with Central Reservations on missing correspondence.
• Maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Anticipate guests' needs and deliver authentic luxury service.
• Handle deposits and commission payments.
