Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is a premier luxury destination perched in Portofino's hills, offering guests authentic, world-class experiences. We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Front Office Manager to lead the Front Desk team and maintain impeccable service standards.

The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of experience in luxury hotel front offices, fluent Italian and English, and a track record in staff leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in luxury front office roles or similar.
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Opera PMS or HMS is essential.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Front Desk Manager in daily reception operations.
• Supervise and coordinate reception team activities for efficient service.
• Greet guests and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
• Address guest complaints promptly and courteously to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports and documentation.
• Assist with updating reservation logs and guest lists.
• Train and mentor reception staff.
