Job summary

Belmond Splendido in Portofino seeks a Guest Experience Manager to lead front-of-house excellence and VIP guest care. You will collaborate with the Rooms Division Manager to ensure flawless service in a luxury setting overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio.

The role requires at least 2 years in luxury hotels, fluent Italian and English, and a professional demeanor. Seasonal contract with Belmond perks and accommodation are included.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken) are essential.
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in similar roles within luxury 5-star hotels or international chains.
• Secondary school diploma or university degree, preferably in tourism or hospitality management.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day running of the hotel in all front of the house departments; maintain high standards.
• Provide a warm welcome and guide guests throughout their stay, exceeding expectations.
• Analyse guest feedback and suggest strategies to improve overall rating.
• Serve as main contact for VIP arrivals and travel agents; coordinate pre-arrival arrangements.
• Maintain relationships with guests and colleagues; communicate with all Heads of Department.
• Promote internal outlets and activities organized by the hotel.
