Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Technical Tendering Engineer in Italy to own the end-to-end Inquiry to Order process, translating complex electrical and substation requirements into winning proposals.

You will bridge customers' needs with internal engineering, coordinating cross-functional teams to shape competitive commercial strategies. This is a permanent hybrid role based in Sesto San Giovanni.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering essential.
• Experience in technical tendering and developing compliant proposals.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously.
• Experience with protection relay and substation automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tendering process from spec review to final submission.
• Create detailed architectures, technical descriptions, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Sales.
• Support customer presentations and bid clarifications to improve win-rate.
