Job summary

Iberdrola Renewables seeks a Grid Specialist to join the Business Development team in Rome. You will lead grid connection solutions for renewable projects, liaising with Terna and Enel, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout permitting and energization.

The role requires at least 4 years in a similar position, strong knowledge of electrical grids and power systems, and a proactive approach to project development. Hybrid working in Italy is offered.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree is required.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of Italian regulatory framework and permits processes of Grid connection.

Responsibilities

• Define and supervise Grid Connection Solutions for BESS and Utility Scale Projects.
• Liaise with Terna, Enel and other DSOs during permit requests.
• Follow up regulatory framework for grid connection solutions.
• Support CAPEX and Contract Manager for project requirements.
