Galileo, a fast-growing renewable energy IPP and operator, seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for PV and BESS projects in Italy. Based in Milan with hybrid work options, you will drive electrical concepts, grid interfaces, and compliance with CEI/IEC standards.

You will coordinate with EPCs, grid teams, and suppliers through development, design, construction, and commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time handover to operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor level or higher in electrical engineering with relevant utility-scale PV experience.
• 3–4+ years' electrical engineering experience on Italian utility-scale PV/BESS projects.
• Experience across development, design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases preferred.
• Familiarity with MV/HV systems and grid-connection interfaces in Italy.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory and CAD.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical design concept definition and requirements for PV and BESS projects.
• Cover full electrical scope from development to construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with EPCs, consultants and suppliers; review deliverables.
• Support grid studies, protection, metering, and safety concepts.
• Provide technical input during procurement and vendor evaluation.
• Support site activities: RFI management, site inspections, FAT/SAT as needed.
• Promote electrical safety, quality, and document traceability.
