Zusammenfassung

Iberdrola Renewables International is expanding its onshore wind and PV projects in Italy. We seek a Grid Engineering & Project Manager to lead engineering, design, and delivery of substations, lines, SCADA, and protection systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage the full lifecycle from concept to handover, coordinate internal and external stakeholders including TERNA and DSOs, and drive best practices across projects in Italy.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; Master’s/Chartered considered.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or equivalent certification positively considered.

Aufgaben

• Lead the engineering, design and delivery of grid infrastructures (substations, power lines, SCADA, protection and communication systems) across Iberdrola Italy’s renewable portfolio, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, regulatory requirements, schedule and budget.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including technical due diligence, engineering strategy, risk assessment, grid interface agreements, planning, cost control, contractor management, construction, commissioning and handover to O&M.
• Lead the preparation, tendering, evaluation and award of engineering, supply, BOP and EPC contracts, including technical specifications, bid assessments and contractor negotiations.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, monitor contractor performance, challenge technical proposals and ensure the implementation of Iberdrola standards, best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical and project leadership to multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors, ensuring effective coordination, decision-making and delivery of project objectives.
• Act as the primary technical interface with TERNA, DSOs, authorities, suppliers, partners and other Iberdrola business units, supporting investment decisions, resolving technical issues and representing Iberdrola’s interests throughout project execution.
