Job summary

Iberdrola Renewables International is seeking a Grid Engineering & Project Manager to drive the design and delivery of grid infrastructure for Italy's renewable portfolio. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across locations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget adherence.

You will coordinate with TERNA, DSOs and authorities, manage engineering contracts and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle from concept to handover to O&M.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree or Chartered Engineer status will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering, design and delivery of grid infrastructures (substations, power lines, SCADA, protection and communication systems) across Iberdrola Italy's renewable portfolio, ensuring safety, quality and budget compliance.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including technical due diligence, engineering strategy, risk assessment and handover to O&M.
• Lead the preparation, tendering, evaluation and award of engineering, supply, BOP and EPC contracts, including technical specs and negotiations.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to Iberdrola standards.
• Provide technical and project leadership to multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with TERNA, DSOs, authorities and suppliers.
• Act as primary technical interface with TERNA, DSOs and authorities, supporting investment decisions and resolving issues.
