Hitachi Energy in Milano is seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead and coordinate low-complexity projects in GIS/AIS/EPC power plants. You will evaluate techniques, act as a design authority and support installations, commissioning and site activities.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Energy/Mechanical engineering, 5–7 years of relevant experience, and fluency in English and Italian. A collaborative, multi-stakeholder environment with hybrid work options is offered.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Energy or Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 5–7 years of GIS (gas insulated switchgear) and/or AIS (air insulated switchgear) and/or EPC power plants experience.
• Able to coordinate projects and people with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and criteria for conventional projects with few complex features.
• Act as a design authority for a specific engineering discipline.
• Collaborate on project installation, commissioning and site activities, clarifying issues and providing technical support.
• Assist in creating proposals and engineering estimates, and perform risk analysis before submission.
• Oversee subcontract creation and management with other functions, including supply chain.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with safety regulations and contractual requirements.
• Lead and coordinate teams in all engineering disciplines on low complexity projects (single or multi-discipline teams <5).
