Job summary

The Lake Como EDITION is seeking a restaurant associate to support food preparation and kitchen operations on site in Italy. You will prepare ingredients, cook according to recipes, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to determine if they are cooked sufficiently and monitor food quality.
• Set up and break down the work station and maintain a clean kitchen area.
• Follow safety policies, report maintenance needs, and complete safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance and develop positive working relationships with others.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds; perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
