Job summary

DialedIn Recruiting is helping a confidential e-commerce software company recruit an Italy-based Business Development Representative. The role centers on phone-based outreach to generate pipeline, with around 80 dials daily to e-commerce decision-makers and booking meetings for account executives.

The successful candidate will become the first dedicated BDR in Italy, reporting to the Country Manager. Start date is fixed at February 1, 2027, with at least two in-office days per week in Milan,

Qualifications

• 6–12 months in SDR/BDR or cold calling role is favorable.
• Comfort with a phone-based outreach approach and resilience to rejection.
• Mindset and potential to grow into full-cycle sales within 18–24 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform cold calls and generate pipeline using the phone as the main tool.
• Make around 80 dials per day to e-commerce decision-makers.
• Book qualified meetings for account executives.
• Help shape the Italy BDR playbook as the first person in the role.
• Report directly to the Italy Country Manager to accelerate learning and leadership interaction.
