Cross Border Talents is seeking an Operations Customer Expert to deliver outstanding support for a UK-founded digital bank in Lisbon. You will be the first contact via phone, email or chat, resolving a wide range of banking issues with judgment and care.

You will handle inquiries, guide complex cases, support fraud investigations and ensure customer-friendly outcomes, while embracing learning opportunities and collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Italian (C1) and English (B2+) proficiency required.
• At least 1 year of experience in banking/financial services.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to resolve issues end-to-end with sound judgement.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via chat, phone and email, aiming first-contact resolution.
• Own issues from start to finish, including complex cases.
• Support fraud investigations, dispute resolution and complaints.
• Identify vulnerable customers and provide appropriate support.
• Coach teammates and share knowledge to improve processes.
• Remain flexible to changing business and customer needs.
