Job summary

Hotel La Palma in Capri seeks a Floor Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations for the luxury property. You will coordinate Room Attendants, manage room priorities, and ensure flawless presentation and guest comfort for all guestrooms and corridors.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Duty Manager, you will plan arrivals/departures, oversee inspections, and support the team to uphold the highest standards of service. Fluent English is essential to communicate with international guests.

Missions

Reporting to the Housekeeping Duty Manager, the Floor Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily housekeeping operations of the assigned floor, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort across all guestrooms, corridors, and service areas.

The role requires planning and organizing daily arrivals, departures, stayovers, VIP arrivals, and special requests, ensuring that room priorities are communicated effectively and that operational deadlines are consistently met.

As a key reference point for the Room Attendants team, the Floor Supervisor allocates daily assignments, monitors productivity and quality standards, conducts room inspections, and provides ongoing support to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the shift.

The position plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence, supporting the entire Housekeeping team, and ensuring a seamless guest experience through proactive coordination, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to luxury hospitality standards.

Profile

The role requires previous experience in Housekeeping operations, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment, with proven exposure to room inspections, team coordination, and floor supervision.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of housekeeping procedures and is able to effectively organize workloads, prioritize arrivals and departures, and support the daily activities of Room Attendants to achieve departmental objectives.

Excellent attention to detail, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, together with the ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced operational environment. A hands-on attitude, team-oriented mindset, and passion for maintaining exceptional quality standards are key success factors for this position.

An advanced level of English is required to communicate confidently and professionally with international guests, effectively respond to their requests, and contribute to delivering an outstanding luxury hospitality experience.
