Soho House Rome is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to lead and develop the housekeeping team, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and guest service. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, coordinate supplies, and liaise with managers to maintain high standards across all areas.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of leadership in housekeeping, strong budgetary and communication skills, and the flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing housekeeping teams.
• Proven experience supervising housekeeping departments.
• Ability to maintain a budget and deliver strong customer service.
• Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations across all spaces.
• Supervise staff during recruitment, onboarding, training and performance.
• Coordinate purchasing and inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and room inspections.
• Manage budget, billing summaries and expenses.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Coordinate guest and staff laundry services.
• Liaise with departments, vendors and leadership.
