Iberdrola is seeking a Grid Specialist to join the Business Development Team in Rome. The role focuses on developing renewable energy plants, performing grid feasibility analyses, and liaising with Terna, Enel, and other DSOs to secure optimal grid connection solutions.

Applicants should have an Electrical Engineering background with at least 4 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of power systems, and familiarity with Italian grid regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Energy) or equivalent.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar grid-connected project role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical connection solutions and power systems.
• Knowledge of Italian regulatory framework and grid permits (CEI, ARERA, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.

Responsabilités

• Define and supervise Grid Connection Solutions for BESS and Utility Scale Projects.
• Coordinate with Terna, Enel and other DSOs during permits and energization.
• Assess regulatory framework for grid connection in Italy for suitable solutions.
• Support CAPEX and Contract Manager in defining project requirements.
