Job summary

Iberdrola is seeking a Grid Specialist to join the Rome-based Business Development team. The role focuses on defining grid connection solutions for BESS and utility-scale projects, and coordinating with Terna, Enel and DSOs to secure permits and energization.

You will analyze Italian grid codes, CEI standards, and regulatory frameworks, support CAPEX and contract managers, and help drive project growth within the Renewables Division.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree with energy specialty or equivalent.
• At least 4 years' experience in a similar Grid/ renewables role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical connection solutions and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and supervise Grid Connection solutions for BESS and utility-scale projects.
• Engage with Terna, Enel and other DSOs during permit requests and grid connections.
• Analyze regulatory frameworks for grid connections, including BESS and renewables.
• Support CAPEX and Contract Manager in project requirements.
