Global Support Engineer — Training & Remote Diagnostics

Job summary

At ECO3, we're a community of innovators in prepress systems for the printing industry. We are looking for a product specialist to provide worldwide technical assistance, documentation support, and on-site help when needed at customer sites.

You will deliver global training for customer service technicians and run beta-testing, report issues, diagnose and repair system problems remotely, and prepare monthly product portfolio reports in collaboration with R&D.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
• Electromechanical engineering bachelor or master degree.
• Willing to travel 50% to 60% of working time.

Responsibilities

• Providing worldwide technical assistance through technical notes & documentation, via phone/email, and when necessary on-site at the customer as a product specialist.
• Delivering technical training globally: both for customer service technicians and through “train-the-trainer” programs for system-related introductions, improvements, new features, and software.
• Supporting beta-testing through testing, installation, basic training, and continuous support.
• Reporting customer issues, recommendations, and other process-related problems.
• Diagnosing, resolving, and repairing system issues remotely to support local technicians.
• Preparing monthly reports for meetings, covering issues related to the product portfolio.
• Validation of new processing concepts in cooperation with application and R&D consumables team in ECO3 HQ.
