As Gas Technology Services Supplier Quality Engineer, you will act as Supplier Quality representative in the GTS and Procurement continuous improvement initiatives. You will build relationships with internal teams and suppliers to ensure successful delivery. You will ensure supplier quality to global standards and lead continuous improvement where there are performance issues.

In detail, you’ll be responsible for :

  • Preparing and present quality performance metrics to internal leadership and customers, e.g. Escaping defects, cost of poor quality, Lessons Learned, RCA timeliness.
  • As part of the strategic initiatives, revamp the purchase qualification process, suppliers’ performance and surveillance in collaboration with Gas Technology Service organization for service commodities (mainly Field Service and Repair).
  • Carry out supplier audits (mainly QMS).
  • Collaborate with the Supplier Quality team, the Quality GT Service business, and IET Quality organization on specific workstreams.

To be successful in this role you will :

  • Have a Master degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Have a data driven mindset and apply statistical methods
  • Have experience in problem solving methodologies and ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Have experience in dealing with suppliers
  • Demonstrate a sound working understanding of field services
  • Be able to travel domestic and internationally
  • Previous and proven experience in conducting audits according to ISO9001.
  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence others
  • Have experience in participating in cross-functional and global improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001 is a value added.
