Job summary

art’otel is seeking a front office team member for a part-time role at our venue in Italy. The position offers 21 hours per week with potential progression to full-time.

You will deliver high-standard guest service, manage check-ins, handle inquiries and maintain the front desk operations in line with hotel procedures. You will follow security procedures, attend training as required, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about operating procedures including Open Table, check-in procedures, floor plan and room management.
• A considerate and supportive team member, helping out wherever needed.
• Respectful of surroundings, taking care of furniture, fixtures and equipment and reporting malfunctions.
• Happy to attend meetings and training courses required by the Head of Department.

Responsibilities

• Offer the highest standard of service to guests while ensuring standards are followed.
• Greet, welcome and direct guests at the Front Desk.
• Answer, screen and forward incoming calls and handle inquiries/reservations.
• Follow security procedures, monitor logbooks and issue visitor badges.
• Organise the reception area in line with procedures and regulations.
• Handle cash, tabs and related procedures as per policy.
• Ensure meet-and-greet and departures meet company standards.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and workspace.
• Take cues from leadership for daily tasks.
