Job summary

BD in Milano is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high-level technical support for BD DS instruments across the Lombardia and surrounding regions. You will install, calibrate, and maintain equipment, perform IQ/OQ activities, and coordinate logistics for customer sites to ensure optimal instrument performance.

The role requires at least two years in medical device technical service, strong English skills, and willingness to travel 100% of the time.

Qualifications

• Good level of English (A2/B1)
• High School/Diploma or Bachelor's degree in electronic or electrical technology or biotechnology certification
• Two or more years of experience in technical service of medical devices

Responsibilities

• Complete training and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge
• Perform installations, deinstallations, relocations, certifications and repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot remotely when needed
• Plan visits, coordinate logistics and ensure parts availability
• Document results and ensure system performance
• Escalate complex issues to specialists
• Maintain service documentation and reporting
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
