Job summary

Becton Dickinson is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high-level technical support for BD DS instruments within the Milano region. You will independently perform installations, calibrations (IQ/OQ), repairs, and other service activities while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem resolution.

Requires 2+ years in field service for medical devices, travel availability, and a solid electronics/biotech background.

Qualifications

Good level of English – A2 or B1.
High School/Diploma or Bachelor's degree in electronic or electrical technology or biotechnology certification.
Availability to travel 100% of your time.
Two or more years of experience in the Technical Service of Medical Device Companies.
Instrumentation Blood Analysis experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-level technical support on BD DS Technical Support instruments and systems.
Perform installations, deinstallations, relocations, IQ/OQ, repairs, and service activities.
Plan customer visits and coordinate logistics; ensure tools and spare parts availability.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, escalate when needed.
Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting.
