Abbott is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrophysiology systems across Italy and the wider EMEA region. You will travel frequently, manage your own schedule, and collaborate with clinical and technical teams to ensure high system uptime in customer sites.

The role requires Italian and English language skills, and a willingness to work in hospital environments with extensive travel (70%+).

Competenze

• Experience in field service or customer-facing engineering
• Graduates or early-career engineers with Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics qualifications
• Candidates from hospital-based engineering backgrounds should transition to a highly mobile field service career
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, IT, and networking
• Comfortable working in hospital and clinical environments

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Electrophysiology systems
• Support hardware, software, IT infrastructure, and network connectivity
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to urgent break/fix situations within SLA requirements
• Manage territory, travel plans, customer priorities, and service commitments independently
• Reprioritise workloads based on customer-critical needs
• Travel extensively (70%+)
