Job Purpose

MSC Cruises is the world’s third-largest cruise brand and a leader in Europe, South America, the Gulf region, and Southern Africa, with significant market share and deployed capacity. Headquartered in Geneva, MSC Cruises operates a modern fleet of 22 ships, with three new vessels launching in 2025, 2026, and 2027. The Field Sales Agent contributes to achieving sales objectives in the Italy Market by increasing active Travel Agencies in the Eastern Liguria and northern Tuscany regions, maintaining relationships, and promoting MSC products and services.

Key Accountabilities
  • Increase the number of active Travel Agencies in the assigned area.
  • Develop relationships with Travel Agencies through regular on-site visits.
  • Present sales offers and trade promotions to Travel Agencies.
  • Organize trainings and familiarization trips for Travel Agencies.
  • Participate in events and trade fairs to promote MSC Cruises.
  • Ensure marketing materials are well-displayed in agencies.
  • Support group tours business with targeted offers.
  • Assist Travel Agencies with bookings, payments, and customer issues to enhance satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales trends and report analyses to the Area Manager.
Qualifications (Experience, Skills)
  • Minimum 3 years in sales management within travel/tourism or cruise industry knowledge.
  • Fluency in Italian and intermediate English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, web, and social media.
  • Degree in Economics/ Languages is advantageous.
  • Results-driven with strong communication and customer care skills.
  • Willingness to travel daily within the designated area.
Visa Requirements
  • Right to work in Italy.
