Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Field Application Specialist for South Italy to enable customers in clinical settings through expert installation, configuration, and training of our Binding Site products. You will work closely with laboratories to ensure optimal instrument usage and data integrity, providing both remote and on-site support.

You will travel up to 75–85% of the time, possess a biology-related degree, and communicate fluently in English and Italian.

Qualifications

Strong background in biology or related life sciences.
Experience in applications role or medical diagnostics lab.
Proficient IT skills for middleware management.

Responsibilities

Install and configure analytical parameters and LIS integration.
Provide training to customers on installation and operation of instruments.
Offer timely remote and on-site technical support and issue resolution.
Prepare and submit accurate service reports in CRM.
Maintain records of kit usage and instrument reliability feedback to product teams.
Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
