A major chemical company in Italy is seeking a Process Systems and Safety Standards Expert to support operational sites in process safety improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, at least 1.5 years of experience in Operational or Behavioral Safety, and strong communication skills in English. As a Process Systems and Safety Standards Expert, you will join Versalis 's HSE team. Specifically, your team will provide specialized support to operational sites in defining process safety improvement measures.

Key activities:

• Support the Security Manager in
  • Promotion, development, updating and implementation of corporate IT applications necessary for the management and monitoring of Process Safety issues
  • Verification of the compliance of the Company's significant investment proposals with Eni/Versalis regulations, policies and regulatory instruments regarding Process Safety
  • Definition of objectives and guiding indicators in the field of process safety
• Participate in technical discussions, conferences, and meetings with national and international associations on process safety matters.

Required characteristics:

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Physics; other qualifications will be considered if significant experience in the role and/or HSE Management Systems is present.
• At least 1.5 years of experience in Operational or Behavioral Safety and/or HSE Management Systems
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Availability for mobility
