Saipem is seeking an Expediter Officer to join the Post Order Function within the Supply Chain at its Milano headquarters. The role focuses on monitoring goods supply progress and ensuring timely delivery of materials across engineering, procurement, and construction stages.

You will engage with vendors, analyze progress, and support manufacturing and logistics teams. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in vendor coordination or EPC expediting in oil and gas, with SAP knowledge preferred

Competenze

• Master's degree, Bachelor’s degree, or technical school diploma, preferred in technical matters.
• At least 5 years as Vendor Project Manager/Job Coordinator or EPC expeditor in oil & gas.

Mansioni

• Monitor goods supply progress focusing on production lead times and delivery dates.
• Understand goods manufacturing and fabrication processes and supply phases (engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, shipment preparation, transportation).
• Visit vendor workshops to analyze progress toward timely delivery of materials.
• Know the vendors market and capabilities.

Purpose of the position:

As Expediter Officer, you will respond to the Post Order Function and be part of the Supply Chain.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities

• Capability to monitor goods supply progress, with focus on production process lead time and supply delivery dates;
• Knowledge of goods manufacturing and fabrication process. Knowledge of goods supply phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, preparation for shipment and transportation.
• To visit vendors workshops to analyse the progress status of manufacturing activities aiming to a timely delivery of the purchased materials;
• Knowledge of vendors market;

What are we looking for?

Education:

Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree or tecnhical school diploma, preferred on technical matters;

Experience: at least 5 years

as Vendor Project Manager/Job Coordinator or EPC contractor expediter, within oil&gas business

Technical/IT Skills:

SAP preferred but not mandatory

Availability to frequent national travel, often international.
