Saipem in Milano seeks an Expediter Officer to support post-order functions within the supply chain. You will monitor supply progress, coordinate production timelines, and ensure timely delivery of purchased materials through vendor workshops and market analysis.

The role requires a master's or technical degree and at least 5 years in vendor coordination within oil & gas, with SAP knowledge preferred. Hybrid work and international travel are expected.

Competenze

• Master's degree or technical diploma in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years as Vendor Project Manager or EPC expediter in oil & gas.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Mansioni

• Monitor goods supply progress focusing on production lead times and delivery dates.
• Understand goods manufacturing and fabrication processes and supply phases (engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, shipment, transport).
• Visit vendors' workshops to analyze manufacturing progress for timely material delivery.

Purpose of the position

As Expediter Officer, you will respond to the Post Order Function and be part of the Supply Chain.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities

• Capability to monitor goods supply progress, with focus on production process lead time and supply delivery dates;
• Knowledge of goods manufacturing and fabrication process. Knowledge of goods supply phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, preparation for shipment and transportation.
• To visit vendors workshops to analyse the progress status of manufacturing activities aiming to a timely delivery of the purchased materials;
• Knowledge of vendors market;

What are we looking for?

Education

Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree or technical school diploma, preferred on technical matters;

Experience

at least 5 years as Vendor Project Manager/Job Coordinator or EPC contractor expediter, within oil&gas business

Technical/IT Skills

SAP preferred but not mandatory

What else should you know?

Availability to frequent national travel, often international.
