Saipem in Milan is seeking a Buyer to support the Milan Procurement Section Leader. You will manage RFQs, bid analyses, and supplier negotiations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

The role requires at least 3 years in Oil & Gas or EPC, English is mandatory, and SAP experience is preferred. Willingness to travel and a hybrid work model in Milano are included.

Competenze

• Experience: minimum 3 years as Buyer in Oil&Gas or EPC.
• Proficiency in SAP and IT applications.
• English mandatory; additional languages a plus.

• Issue RFQ to vendors based on purchasing requests.

Purpose of the position: As Buyer, you will respond to the Milan Procurement Section Leader.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Issue to vendors the Request for Quotation based on given purchasing request and support the vendors during the preparation of the technical/commercial proposals with obligation of confidentiality about the related bid info
• Prepare the commercial/economic bid tabulation to compare different proposals and suggest actions to be taken in order to improve bid result and/or select the vendor
• Lead the commercial/economic negotiation and manage possible deviations to purchase order documents
• Prepare the Purchase Order, close out the bid process receiving purchase/subcontract confirmation by selected vendor
• Perform the assigned activities in compliance with procedures and provided systems and tools

What are we looking for?

Experience: minimum 3 years as Buyer within Oil&Gas or EPC companies

Languages: English mandatory, others are appreciated

Technical/IT Skills: basic knowledge of materials purchased, good knowledge of SAP, familiarity with IT application and AI
