Job summary

RX Global in Milan, Italy is seeking an Operations Specialist for maternity leave replacement to manage floor planning, exhibitor placement, and event layouts on site. The role requires strong organization and prior experience in similar operations roles within the events sector.

You will coordinate suppliers, ensure GDPR and legal compliance in documentation, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams. Occasional travel within Italy or abroad is possible.

Qualifications

• University degree or specialization school.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the sector.
• Good knowledge of the English language and of MS Office (particularly Excel).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD LT is appreciated.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage or participate in managing and coordinating the operations for the shows within the portfolio.
• Prepare the Participation Dossier, verify GDPR aspects with the legal firm, and prepare Useful Information for Exhibitors.
• Draft (using AutoCAD LT) and validate event layouts in coordination with sales targets.
• Manage suppliers responsible for setups and supplies.
• Oversee exhibitors' stand projects and obtain location authorizations.
• Ensure effective communication between exhibitors and sales/marketing teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate the team’s activities to organize and execute the show and track progress.
• Coordinate ISO 20121:2024 certification activities with a consulting firm and participate in audits.
