Sungrow Europe is seeking a candidate for a key role that integrates technology with the energy storage market in Italy. You will manage Energy Storage System (ESS) clients and projects, collaborating with technical teams while analyzing market strategies to maintain competitiveness.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in sales or project management within the solar or energy sector, along with a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

• 2+ years of experience in technical sales or project management in the solar or energy storage sector.
• Strong knowledge of photovoltaics, inverters, and BOS components.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Energy Storage System (ESS) clients and projects throughout Italy.
• Gather client requirements and collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure comprehensive solutions.
• Analyze competitor solutions, pricing, and market strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Represent Sungrow at national and international fairs and congresses.
• Provide periodic sales forecasts, reports, and market research to inform strategy.
• Achieve yearly sales targets and grow Sungrow's local market share.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or an equivalent field, with an affinity for electrical engineering.
• Bring at least two years of experience in technical sales, business development, project development, or project management, preferably in the solar or energy storage industry.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of photovoltaics, inverters, and Balance of System (BOS) components, coupled with a strong commercial sales background, ideally in the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Be fluent in Italian and English (C1 level); Chinese is a plus.
• Exhibit very good knowledge of MS‑Office and CRM software.
• Show willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis.
