Job summary

Sungrow Europe is seeking a Sales Engineer EVC for Italy to accelerate the growth of our AC and DC EV charging solutions. You will drive sales, manage bids, and support customers from initial contact through implementation, while building strong relationships with partners and internal teams across product, service and marketing.

Your background includes a degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering or related field, at least five years in sales within e-mobility, and fluency in Italian and English

• Drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities for Sungrow’s EV charging solutions in Italy.
• Prepare, manage, and submit tender bids aligning with customer requirements and regulations.
• Guide customers through the e-mobility journey with consultative sales, on-site visits, and training.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to strengthen Sungrow’s market presence.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Service, and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor market developments and translate insights into growth strategies.

• Drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities for Sungrow’s AC and DC EV charging solutions across Italy.
• Prepare, manage, and submit competitive tender bids while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and relevant regulations.
• Guide customers throughout their e-mobility journey through consultative sales, on-site visits, technical training, and ongoing support.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, industry peers, and strategic partners to strengthen Sungrow’s presence in the market.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Operations, Service, and Marketing teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor market developments, customer needs, and regulatory updates, translating insights into practical recommendations and growth strategies.

Your profile

All right, that was intriguing, wasn’t it? To thrive in this role and enjoy a long-term career in e-mobility, your background could look like this:

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• You bring at least five years of experience in sales and account management within the e-mobility sector.
• You have strong technical knowledge of EV charging technologies and enjoy turning complex topics into customer-focused solutions.
• You communicate confidently in Italian and English at C1 level; Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus.
• You are eligible to work in Italy without requiring visa sponsorship.
• You are comfortable travelling up to 50% of the time for customer visits, trade fairs, industry events, and partner meetings.
• You are genuinely passionate about e-mobility and the energy transition.
• You hold, or are willing to obtain, CEI 11-27 PES or PAV qualification for work on low-voltage equipment up to 1 kV before undertaking electrical work.
• You bring strong negotiation, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• You approach business planning strategically and use market insights to identify opportunities.
• You enjoy collaborating across teams while taking ownership of your goals and results.
• Knowledge of the European solar energy and energy storage markets is a welcome advantage.
