Job summary

Sungrow Europe is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join our Italian team in Milan. You will act as the technical backbone, translating customer needs into Sungrow PV solutions and coordinating with the HQ in China, the Italian office, and other EMEA teams.

Your role requires engineering know‑how, two years in renewables, and strong communication with technical and business stakeholders. Expect frequent travel, a fast paced environment, and exposure to cutting-edge solar and energy storage

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Approx. 2 years of experience in the renewable energy industry.
• Strong communication and commercial skills for technical discussions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

As Our Technical Sales Manager PV Based In Milano, you are the technical backbone connecting our clients, our Italian office, and our global headquarters. Responsibilities

• Provide expert technological consulting to customers and colleagues in Account Management, acting as the go-to person for all product-related queries.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical questions during quotation preparation and deliver first-level technical support.
• Bridge communication between our HQ in China, the Italian office, and other EMEA offices on product development, technical improvements, and product changes.
• Evaluate certification requirements and oversee test and certification processes to ensure full compliance.
• Manage technical documentation, keeping knowledge structured, accessible, and up to date.
• Conduct customer visits across the EMEA region and make frequent trips to our Chinese headquarters to stay at the forefront of innovation.
• Continuously benchmark our products against the competition and monitor market developments to keep us one step ahead.

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field; alternatively, a higher education qualification or business-related studies with a strong technical component.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in the renewable energy industry.
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and can work independently with focus and structure.
• Strong communication and commercial skills, able to navigate conversations with technical experts and business stakeholders.
• Passion for clean technology and eagerness to continue growing knowledge in this space.
• Sharp eye for detail and ability to connect technical specifics to the bigger business picture.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools is a welcome plus.
• Italian C1 and English C1; additional European languages are a plus.
