Job summary
Verkada seeks the first Enterprise Field Solutions Engineer in South Europe, based in Milano, fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish. The role partners with field account executives to expand Verkada’s footprint into Fortune 500 companies across Europe, focusing on cloud security, IoT, and access control deployments.
You will interact with customers through the sales cycle, design deployments, overcome objections, and travel extensively to support business operations and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Based in Milano or willing to relocate to Milan area.
- 5+ years of Sales Engineer experience with Fortune 500 companies.
- Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter authority on Verkada's products and articulate benefits to customers throughout the sales process.
- Serve as trusted advisor to customers, overcoming objections and securing the technical win.
- Help build the regional team and enable local partners.
- Present Verkada solutions to executives and IT/security leaders.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Head of South Europe on territory strategy.
- Design security deployments, network considerations, and product selections for deployments.
- Stay up to date on security and IoT trends and contribute industry thought leadership.
- Educate partners, customers, and staff through training and knowledge sharing.
- Travel frequently, including domestic and international trips.
