Leica Microsystems, part of Danaher, seeks an Advanced Workflow Specialist – Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation (d/f/m) for a remote role with 40–50% travel across the EMEA region. Based in the Milan area, you will support pre-sales and post-sales activities, deliver demonstrations and trainings, and optimize customer workflows.

You should have an MSc/PhD in Life Sciences or a related field, hands-on EM sample prep experience (cryo-EM, CLEM, ultramicrotomy), and be willing to travel.

Competenze

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or related field.
• Hands-on EM sample preparation techniques (e.g., cryo-EM, CLEM, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture).
• Willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region.
• Proficiency in English; additional European languages (German) are a plus.

Mansioni

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support with on-site and virtual demos.
• Plan, execute, and support customer workshops, seminars, and advanced sessions.
• Contribute to marketing content via webinars, conferences, and materials.
• Develop application data, success stories, and reference workflows for sales.
• Document activities and trainings in CRM systems (e.g., SFDC).
