HPE Group is seeking an Electrification Testing Engineer to develop testing activities for electric machines and powertrains on test benches. The role ensures quality, robustness, reliability, and compliance with standards while supporting automotive, defense, and motorsport sectors.

You will collaborate with electrified systems teams to define testing protocols, review procedures, and improve testing efficiency.

Competenze

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–3 years of experience in Electrification Testing, E-Motor Testing or Electrified Systems Development.
Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and Microsoft Office.
Experience with AVL Concerto and ETAS INCA is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of C++ and Python programming languages.
Strong understanding of electrified powertrain systems and their operation.
Good knowledge of power electronics and signal conditioning/acquisition systems.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
Excellent written and spoken Italian (C1) and English (B2/C1).

Mansioni

Plan testing activities for components and systems in collaboration with customers and Team Leader, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards.
Contribute to the development of testing equipment through technical and commercial assessments, proposals, and investigations.
Monitor testing activities and prepare detailed technical reports for management and customers.
Collaborate with electrified systems design and development teams to define testing protocols and resolve technical issues.
Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and performance.
Implement solutions to increase operational testing efficiency and performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during testing.
Interface with end customers to ensure satisfaction and foster technical/commercial relationships.
