TMC in Torino, Italy, seeks engineers to contribute to full development of eDrive systems (electric motor, inverter, and e-auxiliaries) in an international, innovative automotive context.

Roles include Design Responsible Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Virtual Design Engineer, and Validation Engineer, with responsibilities spanning requirements, design, simulation, validation, testing, and collaboration with suppliers to enable industrialization.

Competenze

• Experience in automotive electronics and mechatronics.
• Strong background in design, simulation, and testing.
• Ability to work in an international, cross-functional team.

Mansioni

• Contribute to the eDrive system life cycle: requirements, design, simulation, and validation.
• Develop and optimize motor, inverter, cooling, and structures for performance and reliability.
• Run multi-physics simulations (FEA/CFD/EMAG/NVH) and compare with experiments.
• Define and lead validation activities (DVP&R, functional, environmental, durability) with test benches.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure project convergence and industrialization.

About this vacancy

The activities will involve the full development of eDrive systems (electric motor, inverter, and e-auxiliaries), working in an international and highly innovative context in the automotive/electrification sector.

The search targets various profiles, including:

• Design Responsible Engineer
• Mechanical Design Engineer
• Electrical Engineer
• Virtual Design Engineer
• Validation Engineer

Depending on the role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Contribute to the entire eDrive system life cycle: requirements definition, design, simulation, and validation.
• Develop and optimize electrical and mechanical components (motor, inverter, cooling systems, structures) ensuring performance and reliability.
• Perform multi-physics simulations (FEA, CFD, EMAG, NVH) and correlate models with experimental data.
• Define and manage validation activities (DVP&R, functional, environmental, and durability testing) and provide support for test benches and prototypes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams (system, manufacturing, validation) to ensure project convergence and industrialization.
