ABB E-mobility is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead automated manufacturing test solutions across the product lifecycle. You will transform requirements into robust test flows, drive end-to-end validation, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure design-for-testability and reliable production testing.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Significant experience in manufacturing test engineering, production test engineering, or test automation environments.
• Strong programming and test automation skills using Python, C#, or comparable technologies.

• Own the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of automated end-of-line and in-line manufacturing tests.
• Translate product, system, and manufacturing requirements into traceable test specifications and automated execution flows.
• Plan and execute end-to-end black-box validation activities for new products, software releases, hardware variants, and production configurations.
• Partner with hardware and software teams to drive Design for Testability (DfT) and automation-ready features.
• Support the full product lifecycle by testing prototypes and pilot builds for production readiness.
• Investigate failures across power electronics, embedded software, and instrumentation to drive root-cause analysis.
• Specify, design, and deploy production fixtures, instrumentation, and test equipment for reliable automated testing.
• Manage requirements, repositories, defects, traceability, CI/CD integration, and controlled software releases using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, field service, suppliers, and external partners to resolve product-quality issues.
