A leading food processing company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join its team. The candidate will operate maintenance tools, conduct preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical problems. This position requires eligible work status in the US and at least 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Competitive hourly compensation is offered along with benefits including medical and retirement plans.

Principal Accountabilities

• Effectively and safely operates standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance up to and including Annual PM’s

• Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics without issue

• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulation as well as other departmental policies and procedures. Help to develop proper safety techniques

• Acquire planned materials, tools and documentation for planned work, and work order information for reactive work

Required Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

• Must be able to work in the US without an humanitarian Parole status related to Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua or Venezuela which is subject to the Federal Register Notice of revocation by DHS on March 25, 2025

• 18 years of or older

• Able to read, write, and speak in English

• Have 2-4 years’ industrial maintenance electrician experience or a minimum 7-month technical training

• Be able to perform basic math

Qualifications

• Previously worked in a food processing environment

• Troubleshoot electrical problems without schematics

• Ability to program PLC systems
