Job description

As a Data Engineer Consultant , you will join our teams to design and implement data warehouse and business intelligence solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for database development, ETL / ELT processes, and reporting systems using SQL Server technologies and Power BI. You will contribute to projects such as electronic invoicing, internet banking platforms, and internal dashboards, playing a key role in transforming data into actionable insights.

Your missions

Develop and maintain data warehouses on SQL Server.

Design and implement ER schemas, tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.

Create and optimize ETL / ELT processes with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Develop reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Build dashboards and visualizations with Power BI.

Contribute to projects in electronic invoicing, internet banking, and internal reporting.

Collaborate in Agile or Waterfall environments, using Azure DevOps when required.

Your profile

1–3 years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence.

Strong skills in SQL Server development.

Proficiency with SSIS for ETL / ELT workflows.

Experience with SSRS reporting and Power BI dashboarding.

Fluent in Italian and good English level.

Soft skills :

autonomy, ability to self‑learn, teamwork, and listening skills.

Nice to have

Knowledge of CI / CD with SQL Server Data Tools and Git.

Experience with Azure DevOps for project management.

Familiarity with Azure Data Platform services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Power BI Cloud).
